Prestashop Peformance/Speed

Hey.

Has anyone already tested the Presta Speed-Addon (https://addons.prestashop.com/de/pe...a-speed-image-site-database-optimization.html )

I've sometimes the Problem, that big images aren't automatically resized or the qualityis bad...

Hope for your suggenstions.

In general, I think it is the limitation of the theme

yes i used presta speed... Improved working and viewing speed experience.

cache clear only prefer is prestashop default. it sound good.

try removed and install agagin or make reset module

Former user here. I used it for a little time but honestly speaking, I can’t say that I saw a dramatic improvement on Google PageSpeed Insights. Maybe the theme I was using was a little bit faulty but in general relying on "speed" modules or extensions for performance and speed is not really the best choice. A lot of those “performance” extensions are buggy and causing troubles even with a small catalog and few modules.

Webp images coupled with Redis + Varnish caching is a much better choice.

CloudFlare is doing great job with prestashop, I recommend to connect your shop to CF.
